How to Care for Your New Furniture
We want your furniture to stay looking beautiful for years to come. With a little care, your furniture will continue to age gracefully.
Everyday Care
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth to prevent build-up.
- For deeper cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth and immediately wipe dry — avoid leaving water to sit on the surface.
- Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or silicone-based polishes, as these can damage the wax finish.
Protecting Your Furniture
- Use coasters, placemats, and trivets under hot dishes, mugs, or glasses to prevent rings and heat marks.
- Keep furniture out of direct sunlight or away from strong heat sources (like radiators or open fires), as this can cause fading, cracking, or warping.
- Because we use reclaimed pine, natural markings, knots, and variations are part of the character.
Spills & Stains
- Wipe up spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
- For stubborn marks, lightly sand the affected area with fine-grain sandpaper and reapply a small amount of wax.
